Princess Eugenie marries Jack Brooksbank at St George’s Chapel in Windsor, where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot in May this year.
28-year-old Princess Eugenie wore a low back dress to show her scar from surgery she had when she was 12 to correct scoliosis, saying: “I wanted my wedding dress to show my scar.” Other than the dress, Princess Eugenie wore a tiara loaned to her by the queen; the Grenville Emerald Kokoshnik Tiara, which was made by Boucheron in 1919.
850 guests were at the wedding on Friday 12th October, including celebrities such as Kate Moss and Robbie Williams.
Republican campaigners say taxpayers face an estimated security bill of £2 million. Nevertheless, the families of the bride and groom paid for the private aspects of the wedding.

Storm Callum hits UK after heatwave
After Wednesday’s temperature of up to 24 degrees in the UK, Storm Callum has swept in bringing 70 mph of winds and persistent rain.
An amber warning is in place for much of Wales and hit 72 mph, and a yellow warning had been issued for South West England, North East England, North West England, South West Scotland, Lothian Borders, Wales and Yorkshire and Humber.
Around 500 homes in Northern Ireland have no electricity or power.
An area of Exmouth seafront, which is set to be protected by a £12m tidal defence scheme, has flooded. Police have warned people to stay away from the coastline.
Banksy-ed by self-destructing painting
Banksy’s painting that sold for £1 million before getting shredded becomes known as one of the art world’s greatest pranks.
Usually, a buyer wouldn’t be expected to go through with the purchase if a work is damaged while in the care of an auction house. However, it’s now thought to be worth even more than the original selling price.
“The urge to destroy is also a creative urge” – Picasso
Banksy released a video showing how he built a shredder into the painting secretly, hence why the auction house didn’t anticipate the painting destructing itself after its sale.
Following the shredding, Alex Branczik, Sotheby’s senior director, said: “It appears we just got Banksy-ed.”
Second Salisbury suspect identified
Second suspect in Salisbury poisoning case was identified as a Russian military doctor.
Using a scanned copy of his passport alongside testimonies from people the suspect knew, the suspect was identified as Alexander Mishkin. Both his real passport and the false passport he travelled to the UK on in the name of Alexander Petrov carried the same date of birth.
Unlike the first suspect to be names, Anatoly Chepiga has a less sparse digital footprint, hence why investigators at the Bellingcat website took longer to identify the second suspect as Mishkin.
Strictly Come Dancing Star cheats on girlfriend
“I’m no victim” says Seann Walsh’s ex girlfriend.
Although yet to officially react to the broadcast of Walsh’s apology, if her likes on Twitter are anything to go by, it still seems like she’s waiting for him to actually say sorry. She liked one tweet that said: “You should stop @BBCStrictly out of respect and apologise to @Beckshumps, neither of you have apologised to her.”
Seann Walsh claims, “I’m not the person I’m being portrayed as.”
Viewers tweeted a range of reactions to Seann Walsh and Katya Jones’s apology on It Takes Two.
Some viewers on Twitter felt sorry for Walsh, with one tweeting to keep the pair in the competition and “keep it about the dancing”.
Let’s vote to keep Katya and Seann in this week. The public humiliation both couples have endured is out of proportion. Enough – let’s keep it about the dancing! #StrictlyComeDancing2018 #Strictly #ItTakesTwo

he could have at least mentioned @beckshumps name instead of skirting around the fact he hasn’t apologised to her, just for the ‘hurt he has caused’.

As much as I do not condone what they’ve done, they have both been painted as Villains and horrible people. These aren’t the only two that have done this. I do feel sorry for them… #ItTakesTwo

I’m writing this post about the upcoming midterm elections on November 6th, in which I’ll be voting in the state of Tennessee. In the past I’ve been reluctant to publicly voice my political opinions, but due to several events in my life and in the world in the past two years, I feel very differently about that now. I always have and always will cast my vote based on which candidate will protect and fight for the human rights I believe we all deserve in this country. I believe in the fight for LGBTQ rights, and that any form of discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender is WRONG. I believe that the systemic racism we still see in this country towards people of color is terrifying, sickening and prevalent. I cannot vote for someone who will not be willing to fight for dignity for ALL Americans, no matter their skin color, gender or who they love. Running for Senate in the state of Tennessee is a woman named Marsha Blackburn. As much as I have in the past and would like to continue voting for women in office, I cannot support Marsha Blackburn. Her voting record in Congress appalls and terrifies me. She voted against equal pay for women. She voted against the Reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act, which attempts to protect women from domestic violence, stalking, and date rape. She believes businesses have a right to refuse service to gay couples. She also believes they should not have the right to marry. These are not MY Tennessee values. I will be voting for Phil Bredesen for Senate and Jim Cooper for House of Representatives. Please, please educate yourself on the candidates running in your state and vote based on who most closely represents your values. For a lot of us, we may never find a candidate or party with whom we agree 100% on every issue, but we have to vote anyway. So many intelligent, thoughtful, self-possessed people have turned 18 in the past two years and now have the right and privilege to make their vote count. But first you need to register, which is quick and easy to do. October 9th is the LAST DAY to register to vote in the state of TN. Go to vote.org and you can find all the info. Happy Voting! 🗳😃🌈
